Save Darfur Amnesty Campaign

I saw this and immediately thought of this class. After seeing other Darfur documentaries I am mildly skeptical of the people whose voices you hear in it, (mostly men, seemingly pretty well off,) but I think it is a very powerful video nonetheless.

For some background, this is Green Day's cover of John Lennon's "Working Class Hero." (You can hear Lennon at the end.) They recorded it for Amnesty International's album: "Instant Karma: The Amnesty International Campaign to Save Darfur," consisting of covers of John Lennon songs to raise money for Amnesty's campaign.

Here's the video:

Hope you're having a great summer!
