Coddling Dictators

As an older President Bush was told by a bolder democratic candidate thirteen years ago: Stop coddling dictators!

Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan. How many more Muslim countries will blackmail us this way before we get it? The dictatorship-or-terrorist-haven choice is a total lie.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are already terrorist havens, but they're total dictatorships, too.

And Uzbekistan? It's just a dictatorship. But if you believe the Uzbek government's propaganda, they've just shot so many terrorists, well, it's hard to believe they've got any left. So I guess means they should democratize now.
